Dog treats for rodents? Empty Dog treats for rodents?

Post by Colors Thu 12 Jan 2017, 4:09 pm

Hi everyone! I know that some people have said that dog treats are really good supplements for protein and tooth gnawing. Can anyone tell me if these dog treats are safe? I'm using common sense and wouldn't get dental chews or rawhide. (I'm pretty sure rawhide's bad for dogs anyway!)

Treats:

Milk bones (flavored and original)

Snaps (variety)

Beneful soft dog treats (I don't think I'd get these anyway as they're more expensive and you don't get as much.)

Thanks everyone!

I prefer milk bone healthy favorites to the original. Much better ingredients, imo.

I'm not familiar with the other treats listed. I do also like Buddy Biscuits.

I really like the milkbone mini original. I fed them (probably more often than i should have) to Charlotte, my first mouse (who made it to 2 years) and I feed them to my trio now.

I never even knew that Milk Bone Healthy Favorites existed. The ingredient list actually looks pretty good, I'll have to pick some up. Thanks CallaLily!

Thank you both! I think I will get milk bone and get the healthy variety if I have it at my Walmart. Smile
