its gonna cost a fricken fortune.... $300.00. this little jerk better survive this surgery and live a long life! this is what happens when you rescue animals. I can't afford it but that's what credit cards are for. he's young and healthy otherwise, so it's a no brainer... he needs the surgery. as gross as it is, it's a fairly easy surgery with a really quick recovery. he should feel great afterward.

Yea everything at the vet these days is so expensive. It will be worth it though and Gunther will for sure appreciate it.

Gunther made it through surgery like a champ! Now he looks pretty cool with one eye.

The Serian hamsters are ADORABLE, and so is little Gunther! I had no idea it was even possible to get their eyes removed O-O
