Re: Housing Pictures
It looks GREAT @casualmousemom. Every time I see these recycled Kaytee/bin cage combos I kick myself for getting rid of mine.

From Proper Housing:

I got mine in store at Petco. You can find them on Amazon, too.

Pros: Spacious, chew proof, easy viewing. Mesh lids allow fairly adequate ventilation, and secure lids create the smallest risk of escapees or wild visitors.
Cons: Depending on height, ventilation can become a concern. Sometimes pricy; larger ones can be heavy and difficult to move and clean.
Size: 10 Gallon Aquarium
A 10 gallon is in line with the minimums presented by many other sources, however many pet keepers prefer to exceed this minimum for permanent, long-term housing. Good examples of short-term uses include: quarantine, hospital tank, nursing mothers, taming, timeouts, small introductions, etc.
Toppers can be a fun accessory for 10 gallon tanks. You may also purchase (or build yourself) one for larger tanks. Some owners dislike toppers because they can be awkward and difficult to move and clean, make it difficult to get to the bottom level, and some mice are uncomfortable in toppers. If you decide to use a topper, double check that the bar spacing is appropriate so that your mouse can't escape, and make sure that essentials (like food and water) are on both levels.
@River and @Peachy's 10 gallons with toppers.

@Peachy
Is this the one you have? I’m worried about bar spacing even though Moose is a full grown male mouse. It says bar spacing is about 3/8” but apparently there are 1/2” gaps on the top.

Re: Housing Pictures
I got the Ware Manufacturing one from Amazon. The spacing is good for my smallest girl (31 grams), but I cover the door on the top with a book or the old mesh lid because there's a gap there. My girls love it! I don't know much about the Petco one, though it may offer more additional space for toys. Only con for me is that I use fleece for comfort on the wires and my eldest girl is no longer litter trained in her old age so I have to wash it every few weeks. Pros...ventilation, climbing, more toy room, levels can be rearranged to offer more enrichment when wanted, more space for the girls to do their thing, and more! I don't mind taking it off to get to the bottom, but some certainly do.

That is the one I have! The bar spacing does vary a bit through the whole thing, but the biggest gaps are at the top. Haven't officially measured, but I'm sure it varies topper to topper anyway. Neither of the boys I've had in there have been able to escape, though. The entire top can open up too, rather than just the little door. It's fantastic!
My best advice is to check it out in the store before you buy it. Or in the car before you leave. This way you can make sure there's no weird gaps or missing bars or bars that aren't securely attached before you get all the way home. If you worry about the top you can find something to block it off, like wrapping/threading fleece around it. That shouldn't be too difficult.

How does this look?
This is the Alaska cage for my 4 girls. They love it already! Got it in the mail today and I wasn’t expecting such a huge box to arrive. It’s way bigger than I expected, but I love it and so do the mice. How does this setup look to you? Sorry if the photo is a little dark, I tried to add filters and such to make it brighter. I totally love how it is right now but I’ll improve the setup accordingly if anything’s not good,

Re: Housing Pictures
Oh gosh, cages are DEFINITELY worth it. I spent $150 on one about a year ago and it's been the best. The girls love it and so do I!! Your cage looks amazing fun.

Bi-Weekly tank rearrangement:
Here's a sideways Video
I later went in and added a large egg carton, like This to give them a little more climbing based enrichment. Their litter box/hanging coconut also isn't visible here as it's getting a baking soda scrub.
