I just got home from Florida. Don't hate it as much as I did before—I miss the warmth, and I was surprised at how much grass and nature was there. I could live there... but I'd still stay away from the beach Wink

And I've been looking up some more cat stuff to distract myself from mice and stuff. I'm getting excited! Now we just have to buy our new house so that I can get this cat ASAP Very Happy

Oh, and I got my ACT test results back! This is the third time I've taken it and I'm super super happy with my score this time Ear wiggle

I honestly didn't expect to get above my previous scores (which were the same each time, lol)!!

I have no idea how you could have possibly hated Florida. We have a road trip planned for Colorado and Arizona in July and I'm too excited!! Anywhere but home! Laughing

Arizona in July is less than inviting, Peachy, so be prepared to sweat, swelter, chafe and pant. It's also the middle of our "monsoon" season (aka mega-thunderstorms often preceded by mile high dust storms) so we actually have humidity then! If you're doing a Colorado-Arizona trip, you may just be going to the northern parts of the state, i.e., Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, Painted Desert (the latter is one of my favorite spots) and maybe as far south as Flagstaff. Temps will be a lot cooler up north.

We've been researching a bit but haven't made any real plans for Arizona, yet. The Painted Desert was high on my list too.
My aunt's graduation from a banking school in Colorado is in July, so the whole family is going. I just happened to talk my husband into driving to Arizona afterwards instead of driving home. Laughing

I'm so excited. I've been trying to talk people into going there with me for years. lol
