I just started getting the mice ready for Christmas lol. I changed the backgrounds of all their tanks (not an easy task) and they all have different Christmas themed backgrounds, the girls in the 20 long have snowflakes on theirs, Rocky has red and white stripes like a candy cane, and Scout has something kind of hard to explain, but it has Christmas trees and says "Merry Christmas". Going to pick up the holiday colored Carefresh on Sunday, super excited to try it! And I need to get my ceramic snowmen and Christmas tree out. I know it's a little early but I just can't wait any longer Laughing

That sounds lovely. I tried decorating my male mouse's cage last year for Christmas, too...but that didn't turn out so good, as I didn't know how to make it that way. =P
Could you post a picture of yours?
Here's a picture of Danny's cage decorated (though really the only thing I did to make it festive was tape up three pictures on the back of the tank):

Aw, that's cute! I haven't completely decorated mine yet this year, as I mentioned, but I can post last year's tanks:

I use Christmas wrapping paper for the backgrounds, it's affordable and looks really nice!

I bought my dog a monster bone and left the door open while I brought in other stuff. She let herself out and skipped straight off to the backyard and buried that bone. $8 bone in the ground. I hope she doesn't forget about it, silly old thing.

My dearest Froggy passed tonight. The last one of my 2015 litters, he was 34 months old. He was perfect this morning, and then while running on his wheel this evening... one minute he was fine, and the next he was gone.
This has been such a tough couple months for me and my mice. Mika destroyed his eye but seems fine now, poor Soong is a tiny little thing, and darling Lulie isn't looking her best. I'm certain this isn't the end. Sigh

Found Dulcie cold and cried, "Oh my God, not again!" And not my adorable, sweet, little Dulcie. The third death in five days!

She was still alive, though. Warming her up and hoping for the best... positive, healthful vibes! Good vibes

I was just coming back to edit. lol After about 15 minutes, the limp, cold body that I picked out of the bedding sprung to life... right onto a cat, off the bed, and under the bathroom door. Thankfully my husband was in there and managed to drop a bowl on top of her. Now she's running around home, bright eyed, hungry, and full of energy!! What a morning she created. Need more coffee. Thud
