A lot of my mom's family have dachshunds! Theyre very popular with Slovakians apparently. My great aunt just got herself a new puppy, actually!

I stopped watching TWD shortly after Negan showed up. I tuned in to say bye to Sasha, but I also read the comics and don't really want to go through all that again. Laughing

1. My grandma had a couple doxies when I was growing up, so I really love those stubborn cutie butts too. We were looking into adopting from a rescue in Nebraska, but my current dog is already deaf and losing her eyesight. I don't really need to take on more.
But puppies! I'm bummed that I have to wait until September for this cutie. In Love

2. These tiny earrings were $60. My present to myself this year. It's not much compared to some, but lots considering the majority of my earrings were about $3 on clearance. Laughing

Is that amethyst? I collect gems. I recently got a pendulum made with natural gems to match the colors of the chakra, part of my native culture I've decided to get more in touch with.

I'm kinda bummed and kinda excited about babies, but will make the best of it! I've never gotten a pregnant mouse from Petco, but I guess all the dreaming and fretting about babies made the universe decide to send me some babies. I just had a dream amout tons of babies a few weeks ago. Fingers crossed she doesn't have tons. Laughing

I don't know! Mice are supposed to gain/grow rapidly in the last 1-2 weeks. She's gotten slightly bigger since I got her... She had a round tummy but her sides weren't really bulging. I'm not sure if that's rapid or not. We'll see how she looks tonight.

Edit: I'm going to guess another week. She's not really "swallowed a golf ball" shaped, she's a lot of belly rather than sides, but I can't see her going more than 8-9 days.

It looks like the momma mouse had three girls and two boys, so I need to start planning how I've got cages arranged. I already named everyone. Smile

[crazy cage confusion tangent]So I have Becky and Lulie's girls in their cages, Milo in a 20 gallon, and Mika in his 10 gallon (though he spends most of his time in the topper... someday he'll inherit the cage that one of the girl groups are in Smile

). I think I'm going to introduce Alex and one of her daughters to Lulie's girls and her other two daughters to the other group. So that's still two girl cages. Then I'm going to divide Rosie's tank for the boys. Three boy cages instead of four! But then the hamster is homeless. So I'm making her a bin cage. Its the most exciting thing I've done in weeks![/crazy cage confusion tangent]

This bin barely fit in my car so I'm sure she'll have a blast in there. I hope I have enough bedding. Laughing

Edit: It was fun until I got the lid done, discovered the side was going to be a pain, and asked Evan to do it while I picked out some fun accessories. Pardon

It's been a tough week. No real reason, just being a crybaby. Lost my Dottie mouse, yesterday, too. Evan got some time off work, making today a little better. Lovey

I forgot my sunglasses and got a migraine when out shopping, so then I went to lie down in the shower. The headaches are no fun but very preferable to the vision disturbances. When I got the stitches out of my thumb, the nurse said I could get it wet after it was fully scabbed, but the scab got soaked away and there's a bit of a gap again that gets caught on stuff. Worry

Also did our taxes. Eek! Glad to have it over with.

Caught sweet little baby Finn sleeping away from the rest. These babies have been so much fun. I'm going to miss them being babies. Love
