Not sure what to put here; what are your mice's/mouse's favorite toys?

I've been thinking about getting one of those little willow balls - anyone have any luck with those?

I've had little raffia balls that the mice loved to shred.  I got them on clearance from a craft store.
Here's a pic of one near Seren to show you size.

My mice aren't picky. They're just as happy chewing and exploring cardboard boxes as they are store bought toys. It's nice to pick up cute things though. Pretty much anything they can climb on, hide in, and chew - they'll be happy.

No matter what toys my different colonies have had over the years, the #1 favorites have always been TP rolls and half an egg carton!

Reminds me - will those cup holders drive-thru's give you be suitable? I've been planning to make a little house out of the ones I have saved up. I don't think mine like toilet-paper rolls too much - they like the longer ones, from towels and aluminum foil and stuff, though. Funner to run through, I guess. And hammocks. I'm just interested in trying out new toys!

Yes, cardboard drink trays are safe and well liked here.

I have a willow cube about 3" square. The girls like it, they climb it and ring the little bell that hangs on it. My mice are not big chewers (yet?) so I don't know whether other mice will munch it down quickly or not.
