To be honest, I'm not all that scared of Trump. All things considered, he's quite liberal for a Republican, which is why the Republican establishment didn't like him that much. He's so far promised to defend Medicare and Social Security, which is good. Although I do worry a bit about how his unprofessional attitude will affect foreign relations.
My concern is the people he's going to put in power. He already has Governor Pence as his VP, a man who basically wants a Christian version of Sharia Law and who believes in conversion therapy. As for his cabinet, I've heard names like Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann thrown around. And with a red Senate, a red House, and almost certainly a red Supreme Court in the near future, I fear for the fate of things like Roe v. Wade, Obergefell v. Hodges, and Planned Parenthood's Title X funding. Especially with the Affordable Care Act already promised to be on the cutting board during the first 100 days of Trump's presidency.

- I dunno how you can call a guy silly when he has gone bankrupt at least 4 times, was one of the main reason for the crash of the housing market, who has screwed over countless blue collared workers he's hired, who's quite obviously suggested to people to take guns and shoot his opponent for wanting to pass actual gun safety laws to keep guns out of the hands of psychopaths, who's response to a tragic massacre was to suggest if people shot fishy looking people first then gun violence wouldn't happen, who says he will throw his political rival in jail, who's alienated all of the United State's allies but who admires and supports Putin who is most certainly not a good ally to the USA, who's said over and over that he'd commit war crimes if president and acknowledged yes the things he said he'd do are war crimes but he doesn't care, who's insulted fellow Republican Senator McCain for being captured during the war and saying he was not a war hero despite McCain having been captured in Vietnam and refused to leave his fellow prisoners to be sent home just because he was a Senator's son and was brutally tortured to the point of still having physical impairments, who raped a 14 year old girl, talks about grabbing women by their private parts and getting away with it, who calls models things such as Miss Piggy or Miss Housekeeping in his autobiography, and who said he didn't mind that the KKK had all publicly declared they'd vote for him.
Sorry to rant, but anyone who voted for Trump is fine with having a racist, sexist, violent psychopath for president and that completely disgusts me. Hilary Clinton might not have been the best candidate ever, but honestly all politicians are kinda slimey and untrustworthy. But Trump? Trump is a complete creep and I have no respect for people that voted for him. You have to be magical sorts of stupid if you think Trump cares about anyone but himself. He's going to use this presidency to profit, I guarantee you this.
He's not even a good business man. He really isn't. The only reason he has any money is cause his daddy was rich.
Just.... regardless of if you're a Trump supporter or not just stay safe. It's too late for anything to be done about him being in power now. Two friends of mine in NYC have been groped by men in the streets and yelled at for not looking girly enough. NYC is a pretty liberal place, one of the most liberal in the country. If nasty stuff is happening there it's happening everywhere. If you aren't a white, christian CIS man you are in danger. Do not travel alone. Keep your doors locked at night. Stay safe.
