Ear problems Empty Ear problems

Post by Dildkongen Sat 07 May 2016, 4:50 pm

My pet mouse has something white like fongus on her ears - we noticed this 6 months ago and went to the vet who gave us some clorexyderm for the ears - we were told this would help, but it never dissapeared, and today when we woke up to feed her, she had a pretty big wound on her ear as if some of the fongus had fell off or had been chewed off by the other mouse. It is not bleeding anymore, but we are afraid she is in pain and need treatment.

Please someone give us some advice as we are extremely worried on her behalf :-(

I agree. If the medicine didn't help, get her back to the vet. Only a professional can help this problem.

Take it to a vet! I've never heard of such a thing as ear fungus on a mouse, but that's just me. Could it possibly be a burden organism or dead, irritated skin maybe? Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

That's okay! Just take care to pay attention to the date of the last post on a thread. We normally don't post on threads that have been inactive for over two weeks outside of the member lounge.
