Goodbye, Imogene

Buried sweet, funny Imogene the Syrian Hamster today. I really lucked out with her as my first (and only) hamster - she had a wonderful disposition, ate everything put in front of her, adored her Carolina Storm wheel and paid no attention whatsoever to Clare the Cat sitting atop her bin cage. Clare will, I believe, miss Imogene even more than I will as she spent many hours every day trotting along the top of the bin, peering in at her.
Although this is the end of the line of rodents for me, I'll still visit now and then to vicariously enjoy all of your sweet mice, hams, rabbits, chinchillas, etc.

I'm sorry your baby passed away. She sounded like such a delightful girl.
And Clare sounds so well behaved too. Any cat that I've had in the past would not tolerate a mouse buddy.
