AnonymousMouseOwner wrote:Very cool, Rodents Rock! Does Mickey like the plastic bird ladder? I use the wood ones but they get dirty fast, it would be nice to have a plastic one that can last practically forever.
Thank you Yes, Mickey loves his plastic bird ladders. Last cage set up he had his yellow one and his green one. This time when I cleaned out his tank I just used the yellow one. Depends on how I put the rest of the stuff in his tank weather I can fit one or two. And they clean up very nicely.

AnonymousMouseOwner wrote:I'm so sorry I missed this post! Thank you! My dad and I built it together, it's made of Plexiglass for the top and wood for the legs. I hot glued the lid of a cardboard shoebox on the top, so it could hold a little bedding. It happened fit perfectly in that tank! My dad got the Plexiglass for free from his work, and it happened to be just the right size.Rodents rock! wrote:AnonymousMouseOwner wrote:Today's setup is rather simple for this group, but I thought I'd share anyway. I just cleaned it kinda quick, didn't have any MES or anything to put in . They really like the second story!
Hi AnonymousMouseOwner. Very cool second floor! Did you build that?
Nice

Re: Housing Pictures
Creative set-up, Shadoo! Is that soil for their bedding? Just curious.

Re: Housing Pictures
Thank you!
Yes it is soil
I love soil as bedding it doesn't smell at all and the mice love digging in it! I do provide a carefresh bedding section in the shower caddy portion in case they want something more snuggly sometimes.

Re: Housing Pictures
I had a $5 off coupon for Carefresh that I needed to use before it expired and Petsmart was having a buy one get one 50% off sale too, so I thought I'd get some pretty colors. I picked up green thinking about Christmas but when my husband saw they also had yellow he joked that I should do a Greenbay Packers theme for him. So I did.
It's a pretty simple setup to make things easier on Arsinoe with that big old tumor and 25 month old (in 4 more days) Rina who's recently also had a tumor pop up.
Food dish and 2 plastic tubes (green and yellow) were added after the picture because I completely forgot about them. My youngest son and I painted the cardboard tube and egg carton with food coloring.

Re: Housing Pictures
I hate gluing popsicles together, so instead, I buy cardboard cupholders from Amazon (after my boyfriend's coworker gave me a box with cardboard egg crate inserts and I saw how much he loved it) and stock pile boxes (when I go grocery shopping, I tend to choose items based off their boxes) to make mousey castles. He adores weaving in and out of them.
He doesn't use his wheel for running, but likes to climb on it.(Ignore the broken and messy dresser). I make a thick bedding as he LOVES to burrow and tunnel in it like a gerbil. There's another box burrowed underneath the two on the left.

@danistarr24.. Wow, that looks like a lot of fun! I know my girls would love a setup like that. I put a paper drink holder in their most recent setup, and they are loving it! They haven't had one in a while, so it's a fun change for them

AMO, that looks great! So colorful and fun! What part did they make their nest in? Really cute paper on the back of the tank
