Re: Housing Pictures
I only have the one set so not too many options in how to arrange it but the mice seem to really it. That time I just made it into a long tube. It was their preferred route from the box (under the faery house) to the wheel.

Re: Housing Pictures
Boring? I think it looks great!
I like to keep me mouse tank decorated nicely even though there are no mice in it. Unfortunately no mice means no excuse to make MESs or anything! So it's super plain, even though I put an old price of fish tank driftwood in there (no mice, so I honestly don't really care if it's safe or not  Still only clean it with vinegar though!). I have a frisbee instead of a wheel in there, and I made a pretty cool fake water bottle
Wow, that was a random tangent. Why am I explaining my mouseless tank? Lol.

Re: Housing Pictures
A good way to try and hold you over until you can get a mouse/mice. I know you're "too old" for it, but have you considered getting one of those cute toy mice. I forget what they're called atm.... but I've been tempted to get one for myself just because well, they're cute! Â
Are you ever really too old for toys??
Gabbi, I just noticed your tsum tsums. They're adorable too. You guys make me want to go buy some pretty bedding too!

Re: Housing Pictures
CallaLily I like the pretty paper on the back of your tank! Very pretty!
I'm 25 and I don't feel too old for toys yet very intrigued to hear about this mouse toy...

Re: Housing Pictures
I'm not home right now to take a picture of my current set up, but found a (terrible quality) picture of one of my old ones. Please excuse the poor quality. I later added a popsicle stick swing on the right hand side of the roof. I like to make the most of vertical space My current set up is the same cage but a really different layout now so I need a new picture (I like the current layout better). I change things up quite a bit.
In September (when I move out of my parent's house and my Mum can't moan at me for cluttering her living room), I plan on getting a new cage. That cage has been fine, but I'm hoping to get 3 more mice so that I can have a group of 5, so I'd like something bigger for when they all move in together Then maybe I'll use this cage as a home for a buck (must have more mice, mwhahahaha).

Re: Housing Pictures
I will never be too old for toys! lol. What toy mice are you talking about? I've yet to see any that I really like. I have two rubber rats that I just adore, but I can't find a nice mouse toy that's at least a bit realistic. Maybe you can describe them? Thanks for the suggestionCallaLily wrote:A good way to try and hold you over until you can get a mouse/mice. Re: Housing Pictures
CallaLily always has such great setups. The TP bridge thing is neat, and I love the mushroom house!
Here's my 29 gallon from a couple weeks ago. And... Sunshine and Willow are picky about roommates, so I gave sweet Pearl to Miss Lulie. The second picture is their 10 gallon's princess-y theme this week.
Bonus pictures.

Re: Housing Pictures
Thank you.
MouseLover, the print on the back is wrapping paper from Dollar Tree. Â It was a coincidence that it matches the cupcake liners and paper straws that I bought to make flowers with months ago. Last time they only nibbled the paper flowers, this time they shredded them and used it as nesting material. Â I'm jealous of your pod thing you have hanging. I've wanted one for a while and the strawberry hide is cute!
Abeona, the tp bridge thing is leftover ends from the paper towel tubes I cut to size to fit under the drink holder. I was thinking of dying it with vegetable dye to make it look like a rainbow but I'm all out. They like it more than I thought they would. Â I love your castle and the flower stickers. I thought about hanging a braid of fleece like that. Do they climb it?

Re: Housing Pictures
Cheers, they sleep in the hanging pod thing on hot summers days cuz they get a bit more breeze and air up in there hehe.
They used to sleep in the little grass nest thing, but then it got stinky so they're back to plastic houses hehe.
